Screening Services:

Speech, language and/or early literacy screenings can be scheduled either at the Rachel Wastell Speech Pathology Clinic or on school campuses by negotiation. The purpose of the screening is to determine if a consultation and/or further evaluation is warranted for the area(s) of concern.

Assessment Services:

Speech-language pathologists are able to evaluate the link between oral and written language. RWSP evaluations are individualized based on each client’s history, specific communication and academic challenges and desired outcomes. Assessment tools are chosen in response to the presenting client profile and include both standardized and informal measures.

• Social Communication and Higher Level Language Assessment
• Articulation/Oral Motor Assessment

A written report will be provided and a parent meeting scheduled to discuss results and recommendations.
